I can highly recommend Kristel Photography wall art. I have a series of colour images of WA Native Orchids which expertly showcase the delicate flowers in vibrant colour. I also have a beautiful black and white aluminium print depicting a pristine snow capped mountain range in France. The perspective draws the eye over and down into the slopes to a tiny team of mountaineers. It envelopes a sense of freedom and appreciation of the natural beauty of the landscape and the optimism of the intrepid explorer. I just love it.

Recently I had my maternity shoot with Helena from Kristel Photography and I couldn't be happier with our photos. I am someone who finds having photos taken difficult. However, with Helena's guidance and knowledge behind the camera, I was made to feel at ease in a very short amount of time, and I actually enjoyed the shoot.
We are over the moon with the quality and professional standard of the photos but equally with the way Helena made us feel.
I am so glad I get to keep these memories and I will definitely be back for more in the future.

Being someone who naturally shies away from the limelight, camera shy doesn’t even begin to describe me. “Camera awkward” may be a more apt term. However from the minute I stepped into Helena’s studio, I knew I was in good hands. Helena’s warm and welcoming personality put me at ease straight away, and her guidance during the shoot helped make it a smooth and enjoyable process – I was not expecting to have so much fun! Thanks to Helena I now am that little more comfortable in front of the camera, and don’t cringe when I think of people looking at my photo on our website or social media pages. Had such a lovely shoot with Kristel Photography last Friday. Just finished the tough job of only selecting a few to hang around my house. There were so many beautiful shots. Helena Kristel really captured my little girl's cheeky personality as well as giving me some classic photos. Paityn was a bit tired and cranky throughout the shoot but Helena was patient and friendly with her. I can't wait to shoot with her again.

I'm not someone who enjoys being in front of the lens (who does?) but you made the process light-hearted and fun, which helped me relax and enjoy the shoot. I was super impressed with the quality of images that were presented as proofs and found it incredibly difficult to select which ones I wanted from the 40+ images provided. It took me about a week and many consultations with family and friends to choose. I recently did a shoot with Helena from Kristel Photography. I was wanting some nice images of myself and my beautiful dog. I had seen Helena's work before, which is what drew me towards her to be our photographer. From the very start Helena was very accomodating, efficient, and polite - nothing was ever a problem. I asked if we could do the shoot at my local park so that my dog felt comfortable and Helena was all up for it. Not only did Helena create some amazing images for me, but she made the shoot very easy going and very comfortable for me and my dog to be a part of. The experience was so much fun and the outcome was amazing too! The images I received were beautiful. I was extremely impressed considering I have a very active and energetic dog. Helena was able to catch some really beautiful moments of us and even my dog Steel on his own! I would highly recommend Helena as a photographer as she creates a wonderful atmosphere during the shoot and the images she captures are truly beautiful. Thank you so much Helena.

My husband and I recently attended a maternity shoot with Helena in the comfort of her home studio. We found her to be very calming and professional, her guidance and suggestions to be anxiety-reducing, and her openness to ideas to be very inclusive. She spent a significant amount of time completing the shoot, with multiple changes and shot ideas, and at no point did we feel rushed or uncomfortable.
Helena had also prepared for our three year old attending the shoot in advance, suggesting we bring along toys, as well as providing some fun props for him to play with and be photographed in. Despite his best efforts to challenge her skill, Helena took some fabulous photos of our son and we are so pleased to have him included in our maternity photos.
In summary, Helena’s attention to detail, gentle prompting and preference for use of natural lighting to showcase my pregnancy produced photos that exceeded our expectations and have provided us with images to cherish and reflect back on over the years. I would have no hesitation recommending her to others and cannot thank you enough, Helena.
